Lunar C has come a long way since becoming the UK's most infamous battle rapper of recent years, following his undefeated run on the UK's #1 battling league, Don't Flop.
Now with 100,000+ fans across social networks, millions of views on Youtube, having had his videos play listed across TV, his self released debut EP “Good Times and Dead Brain Cells,” reaching #25 on the iTunes chart, #2 in the Hip Hop chart (only beaten by Drake) and the highest new entry in the Official UK Urban chart that week, there can be no doubt Lunar C is on a hype. With over 200k fans across social media, millions of views on YouTube and his own clothing brand Boisht, Lunar C is set for another huge year after signing to Sway’s Dcypha label.

Lunar’s debut single “MUG” is released on 23rd September 2016 (Dcypha)

‘Breakdown Rebuild’ was the latest mixtape from the Yorkshire rapper (mainly produced by Hashfinger), available for free download across all stores including DatPiff. Genius music videos followed for ‘Shnaffleberry’, ‘Cool As Fuck’ and ‘1000 bitches’ ft. Dream Mclean from Kill Money, Lunar’s favourite director.

Over the years Lunar has worked with the likes of Labrinth, JME and Foreign Beggars to name a few. Also performed on the same stage as Action Bronson, Kano and K Koke. Live shows supporting P Money and KSI with DJ Heritage, follow on from international tours in Australia with 360 and US rapper Hopsin in 2015. Lunar has also performed for the 1xtra stage at Leeds Festival as well as consistently performing solo shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, York and more, in his most popular areas for his hardcore cult fan base.

Charlie Sloth’s support for Lunar C with the Fire in the Booth series was extended beyond his two solo sessions, by inviting him to the Fire In The Booth Cypher 2015 Cypher, alongside Lady Leshurr, Bonkaz and President T.

After Lunar’s successful return to Don’t Flop by beating OShea in summer 2015 to a sold out Ministry of Sound, Lunar is set to work on more of the additional content for the channel including “Bad Bars’ and talks of his own show.

Lunar is currently in the studio working on more material with Sway and Dcypha for his first album project on the Dcypha label but is active as ever online, with his controversial and charismatic persona as accessible and engaging as ever.
